Goat on vinyl versus CD

The regular vinyl edition is out of print. There are a couple on ebay right now. They usually sell for $30-$50.

Oddly enough, the picture disc versions of Goat that I've seen on ebay usually sell for less than the regular one, even though I'm guessing they were pressed in fewer quantities.

I've never heard the picture disc of Goat but the Liar picture disc sounds like shit.

Goat on CD or LP should kick your ass. If the CD sounds bad, it is your CD player or your system. Same for the LP. The material is recorded very well, and the mastering job is adequate.

Don't even think about the picture disk. Those things are for looking at, and displaying on record store walls, not for listening to music with.

Whatever you do, don't let one format vs. another deprive you of Goat. It is essential.

In comparison, the CD seems really quiet, actually.
