I thought they closed the bottom lounge down

I heard they were gonna re-open somewhere at some point. I guess that happened. Doesn't matter to me, since I only ever went to that place once (to see Shellac). I can't think of another band that played there that I ever wanted to see. That place might as well have been Phyllis's Musical Inn or something.

I saw Clutch there 3 or 4 times, always a good time.
My old band played there. everyone was nice and it sounded pretty good.

Now I love them a lot.

Nonsense. He's one of the nicest, coolest guys I have ever chatted with. Seriously. I know assholes and he's no asshole.
Why don't you go over and say hello sometime? I think you'll change your tune right quick.

Fear and Whiskey is a truly heartfelt and brilliant album, and still feels extremely topical.
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.

Yeah, Jon's a good guy. Introduce yourself and you'll probably wind up in an interesting conversation (or at least be exchanging pleasantries).

Fear and Whiskey is a lovely introduction to the Mekons' catalog.

Yeah, my opinion of Jon, and Sally Timms flip-flopped after sharing a plane ride w/them recently. Super nice and unassuming folks. I've aged a few months as well, so chalk that last post up to youthful sputtering, please.
