I'd rather go with my mother to a Shellac gig than not go to a Shellac gig at all. Buy her a ticket and make her promise not to mosh?

i don't think she would like go to shellac show. that's not her type of music. but me, i will kill myself if i won't see them. it's a great opportunity.

Is it safe?

It was fine, friendly and fun when I was there last July. Obviously, right now is probably not the best time to be someone from the UK or US. However, I get the impression the protests are currently a very specific set of events - I don't think they're dragging Canadians into alleys quite yet. In all honesty, I believe that Belgrade is a safe, enjoyable, historically fascinating, oft-pretty and vibrant city.

I already have a very vague plan, dependent on my passing my driving test, of buying a cheap car driving up to Berlin with my brother to move in at the start of May. It is quite tempting to extend this very vague plan.
