I was at Antone's in Austin last week, where someone there told me "this is where "Stevie got his start". (Not exactly sure, friend's boyfriend bartended there so it is a little hazy.)

I then told them, "Well if he hadn't have died, he would've finished here, too."

I was not the most popular guy in the bar after this. Left soon after.
