Ok here's one.
Name me a record that you may or may not personally enjoy but where you are nonetheless POSITIVE the band's choice for which song to release as a single off it was all wrong and just makes no sense to you whatsoever.
There's another song on there that you KNOW they should have put out instead.
Or, in general album cuts that you think should have been released as a single if that's how ya wanna play it.
So go, let's hear it.
Inexplicable Choice For a Single
2Some people take issue with Pavement (personally I like the early stuff somewhat, but the later stuff is annoying), but I think we can all agree (the band agrees even now) that their choices for singles for Wowee Zowee were terrible.
"Rattled by the Rush" is ok, but "Father to a Sister of Thought" is such a poor choice.

3Indeed. Love the band, but they also completely messed up putting out "Carrot Rope" as the first single off what was supposed to be a "breakthrough" album, Terror Twilight.

9Drunkenly, wasn't (one of the) first Fear 7" released with the intention that "Now Your['re] Dead" would be the first single, rather than "I Love Living In The City?"
Correct me if I'm wrong, as I'm sure I am.
