Yea the Fed did something kind of amazing that they are letting the security for the loans of cash be the bad loans themselves. Thus if the banks or private equity houses went into chaper 11 restructureing they could just directly unload the bad loans to the fed for the overvalued good cash. Quite amazing.

Aparently they are afraid of lowering intrest rates any more. Just the huge amounts of equity each week they keep pumping in should be a indication of how bad things are getting.
