This album just got me back into playing drums.

I have my drums set up in the living room. I must've played along to Elephant 5 times in a row last night. Gonna play it another 5 tonight.

I enjoy this album. A lot.


I like how every song ends with the two bass drum hits synchronized with the guitar and bass.

Like any other album, it has it's parts that I don't like, but then again, perfection is always unattainable. --Beauty is a subjective thing, and I can't expect to have 100% of what I want 100% of the time.

Still though the overall strengths of the release is much greater than the parts that I consider weak. --Definately not crap.

the songs and use of space/arrangement are sick. as is the packaging. as is the recording quality. paco. bobs almost piano-like-new strings each song-like bass tone. todds luddies and steves bean have never sounded better. kudos. excellent.

Nothing to do with this album, but wasn't "Terraform" kinda poorly received when it came out? I listened to it the other day for a first time in awhile, and it still might be my favorite Shellac record.

This Greyhound will live on as well.

I've lived with this for awhile now and conclude that this is my favorite Shellac record by quite a margin and my favorite release from '07.

it's not crap, but it's not monumental either.

This record is still grand.

Right when this album came out I picked it up and set it on my desk for a while.

My friend thought it would be a good Idea to eat some mushrooms and hang out for a bit.

Then I remembered I had Excellent Italian Greyhound and man,.....it was great.

The End of Radio and Elephant were the scariest things I've heard during that trip.

I'm torn between this record and 1000 Hurts when it comes to choosing favorites.
