Just to let you know; Shaq was included in the top 50.

Pound for pound, AI is one of the greatest competitors currently playing the game, but top 3? Top 3 of what? All time? Naw way. Allen's biggest handicap is his front office. Man, can't they can't keep shit on that team.

One of the best quotes I ever heard about Iverson came from Charles Oakley, but it was really about Vince Carter's lack of toughness/desire, basically he said that if you put Iverson's brain and heart into Vince Carter's body, you'd have the best player in the history of the game. A compliment to one, slap to the other.

walton was a great center when he was healthy

i agree he didn't have enough under his belt to make a great case for top 50. as a pro, for his career, he was a shadow of tim duncan, who has quietly been the best all-around player in the league for a few years now. but walton was really good when he could move.

one of the great college players ever

Connie Hawkins' NBA career was roughly a million times more impressive than Bill Walton's NBA career.

well, maybe twice as impressive, taking his best years into account and including the aba. walton did carry the blazers to an nba championship.

however, if walton is cut slack for injury and top college performance, hawkins should get cut slack for being blackballed by the nba and kicking everyone's ass for two years in the aba.

is the connie hawkins book called "hawk?" that's a really good book.

The players have too much physical skill to have to do that and it detracts soo much from the game.

did you ever see isaiah thomas play? worst ball palmer ever. sex jokes.

Well, I just looked the list over for the first time in quite a long time. Shaq is there.....my mistake.

The list is either outdated or more members need to be there.

AI - definitely. And better than many on the list, including Tiny Archibald IMO.
James Worthy - is that a typo?.......gone.......
Tim Duncan - come on down!
Kobe Bryant - yep.
LeBron - reserve his place.
Kevin Garnett - he'll get there.
Jason Kidd - hold on.......
Vince Carter......hahaha.....now I'm starting to amuse myself.
Tracy McGrady....buy a ticket....wait, get two, one for your cousin.
Reggie Miller.....better than some others on the team.
The Madguitrst has left the building.........

ok, youre off your shit now. James Worthy redefined the power forward position in the 80's. He also had one of the most unstoppable back to the basket games in the era. He filled the lane on the break as well as anyone in history, and is one of the best finishers of all time.

and you think reggie miller should be on there? reggie's game relies too much on everyone else setting screens. cant/couldnt create his own shot off the dribble and was a sub par defender.

My top 3:

1. MJ
2. Oscar Roberston
3. Magic

My current favorite players to watch are LeBron, McGrady, Iverson, J. Richardson, Nash. Vince is starting to become watchable again.

I've been hooked on J. Rich ever since I saw him bounce the ball off Boozer's head and then swish a 3-pointer in the Rookie-Soph game. Yes, it was completely unnecessary. Yes, it was in the Rookie-Soph game. I don't care.
