They've been there already, they demand a new restaurant everytime we go out. I have to wow them as well. They live in the burbs where there's nothing, so they get a real kick out of eating at some crazy restaurant in the city once a month.

I am thinking Cuban this time, maybe.

I can personally vouch for Cafe 28, a place that serves Cuban/Mexican fare at Irving Park and Ravenswood and owned by family friends of the wife. Been there lotsa times, not that cheap but you won't be sorry. All kinds of parking on the east side of the Metra tracks on Ravenswood north of Irving.

Will most likely have a crowd, but it's goddamned Easter for chrissake.
