I'd like to freeze now, 33. I'm more sorted than ever, great relationship, work is interesting, study is challenging and I'm just young enough to play in a band and it to seem not like clinging onto my youth...
33 is good, 34.... mmmeeeeehhhhhh

103I used to be very shy when I was younger. I would have my mum make phone calls to people other than my friends (dentist or take-away for example) for me. I think a lot of it came from fear of making a mistake, or simply not knowing what to do. A couple of years ago I reached the point in the 'most people are idiots' line of thinking where I realised that it didn't matter too much what the average person thought about me and gained a lot of confidence as a result of it. The older I get the more comfortable with myself I get and I feel better for it. I'm still quite a shy person really and often even when I don't feel shy I'll simply choose to say nothing, especially around people that I would rather listen to than talk to.

104I tend to have less hair, therefore I have to cut less. The hair does seem to move from my head to other places, like my back. I like that my auto insurance is cheaper, and even though people think I'm 20, they give me a little more respect when I tell them I'm 33. I like being able to tell people that I saw Fugazi in '89, or the reason my front teeth are chipped is because a fat guy landed on my head at a Neurosis show in '91, sometimes it's fun to be old-er.
