Band: The Zombies (actual poll)

Bought Zombie Heaven this weekend primarily for the 4th disk, their cover of "Look of Love" especially. My wife rightly has argued that 4 Zombies 'best of's are enough for anyone. I pointed out how many pairs of shoes she has. Unable to counter my brilliant rejoinder, she told me to fuck off.

Sometimes my nerdiness alarms even me.

Picked up the Argent "Hold Your Head Up" collection for a buck at Used Kids. Not worth it.

Thought I'd mention to anyone who cares that the Zombies reunion (when the surviving members played Odessey in it's entirety) was fantastic. It made me realise just how lame the Blunstone / Argent band really are.
The music still sounded as vibrant and fresh as the original LP and I swear if you closed your eyes you'd swear the guys on stage were still 20 something. Even Blunstone's voice sounded perfect (I think he must have had a cold last time I saw him).

If they decide to tour this (which judging by the 20minute standing ovation they received seems likely) I urge any Zombies fans to see this. You really won't regret it. If they don't tour it you really missed out.
