One-sentence indie rock confessions

If Julian Cope recommends an album it is generally the next thing I buy.

I have a soft spot for late 80's quirky boy/girl bands like Christmas and Glass Eye that I would never pull out in mixed company.

I secretly believe that people who deify the Ramones are simpletons.

I would rather listen to a Louvin Brothers album than Mogwai.

I have every album by The Three O'Clock to include "Vermillion".

Halfway through any given live set I've heard enough and want to go home.

I am filled with liberal guilt that I own and enjoy the first Skrewdriver album.

I suspect that "electronic musicians" are by and large talentless noodlers and refuse to explore the genre.

i downloaded it, after years i still haven't listened the whole way through, but i've done just enough listening in those years to determine it doesn't merit a purchase on my part.

i would rather listen to a record by some 90s alt-metal band (the deftones, tool, pantera, alice in chains, helmet, soulfly, faith no more, or rage against the machine) than any record by joy division. a sentiment similar to the following:

yea your suspicions are true. ever been to the live shows? where they seem to be reaching all around and twisting all those knobs? they're really just acting like they're busy, the track is playing off a cd.
