I read the Crap/Not Crap threads far more often than I read any of the other forums, mainly because I have a short attention span and Crap/Not Crap has a lot less Rick Rueben and Clocker Bob.

The fist time I saw Shellac I had no idea who they were; I was just going to see Tar.

I sometimes think I listen to music my own bands make more than I should. It helps that I'm not the (lead) singer, so I can sorta imagine it being a different band.

I got kicked out of the second to last Sleater-Kinney show after one or two songs.

The only time I ever saw Silkworm, they only played one song I was familiar with ("Severance Pay"; I don't think they played anything else earlier than Blueblood).

In my deepest, secret heart I want to play tic tac bass in a country-ish band.

I would really love to be in Robbie Fulks' band but I lack "chops" to do so.

I own two complete Nudie suits and pieces of two others.

I just don't understand the brilliance of Captain Beefheart.
