One-sentence indie rock confessions

Liking The Killers is where the line is. The fact that thread has "conffesion" in its title doesn't mean that you are supposed to write the most embarrassing and personal stuff here. That's just uncomfortable to read, and sucks the joy out of posting on PRF. Cause in the middle of writing something I suddenly think: "Shit! This is gonna be read by people who like The Killers". It's not a nice feeling at all, so drop it.

Hey - we should lay off the killers bashing. I mean, I hate them too, but this IS the confessions post. That said, they're a terrible, terrible band and this should in no way reflect my own taste.

I guess that means I gotta make another confession. ugh. Okay, I'll say I haven't listened to a lot of the newer Touch & Go releases, which makes me sad considering I absolutely love the stuff that's been put out by the label in the past. Maybe I should open my mind up a bit more (yeah right)
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

An alternate universe wherein Sting would start becoming very influenced by The Pixies and Hüsker Dü sometime around 1990 would have been an interesting, surreal universe indeed. I think I woud prefer that universe.
