I like spelling. However, a few things annoy me. For instance why does "arguable" not have an "e" after the "u" but in the word "unbridgeable" there is an "e" after the "g" ? And when I looked in the dictionary online there are entries for both "knowledgeable" and "knowledgable" what the hell is going on? Any other words you can think of like this? sorry I am bored.

The English language has such disparate roots, and has been messed with by so many people trying to 'fix' irregularities through the centuries that it is pretty damn irregular in all repsects (spelling rules, pronunciation, grammatical structures).

Deal with it...
