Saw them the other night and it was superb. Better than all the previous times probably. The new material sounded absolutely huge and the rest of the set was really varied and full of nice little surprises. Kim and Kelly seemed to have plenty of fun and well, The Breeders are Not Fucking Crap. Game on.

I saw them last week in Leeds, town of the (sort of) North. They were excellent there too.

The new album is all over the place, but it has some killer songs on it.

Anyone else hear a slight Blonde Redhead influence/mood in Night Of Joy?

(maybe it's just the singing, the chord progression, the guitar sound, the ethereal-ness, the key and the mood. Perhaps just a coincidence?)

And that song Walk it off hmm, Travis Bean bass through Ts50B maybe? Or a PBass?
