Guitar Rig 3 is awesome as well, especially with a foot controller.

I messed with one at a megastore that doesn't bear mentioning, and it sounded ok for the few minutes I got to plink around. Not looking for anything spacy, just something to give a little thump after the initial attack of the note. To kinda make it sound bigger without washing the sound out with reverb.
I've looked at the Keeley and Analogman mods. Both make it true bypass. The Keeley's more affordable and apparently they make it so you can hold down the Ibanez switch and the delay will start to feedback.
