Eminence uses the suffix LT on their "full-range" 12" driver.
Might an abreviation for a electrical term or notation.
L usually means "inductance".
So I don't know.
But "lead" might make sense in the case of the EVM drivers.

12It might also mean nothing. Like, it's just an identifier. Otherwise mightn't we expect the same notations for their 12" drivers?
Anyway, objection your honor, calls for speculation and such.

14How about capable 400 watt 15" speakers that a person can buy new? EV only makes 12" intsrument speakers these days. If it is that hard to track down these EVM-15L speakers I am hoping that there is a capable "equivelant" speaker in production. Anybody know???

16does anyone have the frequency response of an EVM 15L speaker? ive heard (or rather, read on this forum) that they are intended to produce more high end than the 15B, which is what i desire.....the EVM 15B is said to have an approx range of 40 - 1300 Hz, does the L series go higher than this?

17I bought a 200 watt series II EVM-15L for my DIY dietz cab. It sounds good, I use it with an ampeg 15, powered by a GK 400rb. The EV is bright and loud, you can here it below.
Good luck, I enjoyed researching, buying parts, and constructing my cab. It was very satisfying.
