sound proof door

I would just go to the Custom Door section of your local yellow pages. I looked into it here in the Sacramento area, and most places had something to offer. The good ones are usually constructed of some kind of lead composite, and pretty effective. I wouldn't contact a company too far from your location, as you would probably want them to install it. If you don't have a lot of experience hanging doors, they can be extremely tricky. They are mainly intended for fabrication shops that have offices in the same building so, as long as you are near a semi-industrial city you should be able to find them. Hope this helps.

they're going to cost you a few thousand dollars. youd be better off with a 1 5/8" solid core door. hang it yourself, weather proof it with neoprene strips, and get yourself a door bottom from zero international. boom, soundproof door for around $300.

goto johnlsayers.com, or recording.org for more info.
