Either-Or: Lifestyle: Goth or Emo

I really don't have anything to do with kids under the age of 16, so I wouldn't know anything about either of these "lifestyles".

When I was 16, Bauhaus was Goth, and say what you want about black as a fashion statement, the kids were mostly alright.

There was no such thing as Emo back then, but Husker Du had released their version of "8 Miles High" and it foretold good things to come for loud dissonant guitar and screaming your head off (i.e. Drive Like Jehu.)

I have no idea what is meant by "Emo" now.

When did this thread become about the chicks?

...back to sleep for me.

put on the clothes put on the attitude. guy said that, right?

well, here's a way of measuring it:

goths probably spend far more money to look that bad. stack it up: the boots, the make up, the (p)leather, the chains, the jewelry, the piercings, the bondage gear, etc.

emo: the glasses and the thrift store. or the stores that sell really expensive clothes that look cheap. oh and all those terrible tattoos. a star, betty page, etc.

anyways, both are crap. and i choose neither. i have problems with the punks and the metal heads too. i hate when you can guess a fuckers musical taste by the outfit.

i went to a military highchool so i just have issues with uniforms. particularly self inflicted uniforms.
buy my guitar. now with pictures!
