Anyone else going to this? So far the PRF contingency seems to be -

Tommy(s) Dski and Alpha
Andyman (hopefully!)
eliya (hopefully!)

Anyone else?

i'll be there too.
The area around the concert uterly sucks in my opinion. If you're in paris for more than a night, you maybe want to sleep somewhere else.
If money is not that much of an issue, you can maybe find a more central hotel, (preferably on metro line 5 i guess >see http://ratp.fr for transportation info, the concert is "porte de pantin", northeast), near republique, bastille or something like that, so you don't have to listen to a junkie beating a prostitute biting a bookmaker killing a gambler down your window (though I may be a little exagerating here). Republique and bastille are food-easy, bar-easy, transpostation-easy, and even montreuil-easy if the prf feels like an aftershow party on the gold coast of paris.

I'll be there! I'm just looking into accommodation just now - there's a couple of hostels from £20-30 per night. Has anyone booked a place to stay yet? Any advice? And what time does the metro stop running?

Wahey! Assuming you want a single room (as opposed to a dorm), you may be looking at €80 a night. I got lucky with mine, though it could still be a shithole.

Weekdays, the last metro starts around 00h40 from each side of the lines (to be confirmed by the ratp site), on about every lines. 1h40 on weekends and special days.
There's a place I visited this week where my teacher sister took her class for the two nights they spent in paris. Not a fancy place at all, but very clean (she said), and cheap. I remember seeing 4 people rooms went for about 100 euros (of course they had single, double, etc, but i didn't check the prices...).

Just googled it:
Résidence Internationale de Paris
44 Rue Louis Lumière
75020 Paris
Tel : 01 40 31 45 45

and also:
some info

not fancy but cheap and with good acces and quiet nights.

the paris show was great. exellent sound. exellent set. exellent bands.

during the shellac set, somebody in the crowd asked where was todd getting his hair cut, i think bob briefly went and said something to todd before walking back to his microphone and said: " todd will talk to you after the show".

did anyone here saw the Trobbing Gristle show that was on the day before ? any anecdotes on the evening would be greatly apreciated. i heard there was some freaky surgery videos going on...
