Why do you even ask? If I showed you 100 doctors with research, you would say that it was the wrong 100 doctors, and then ask the same exact question again. If the establishment isn't behind something, it doesn't exist in your world.

Here's what I think: the foods on the alkaline list look healthier than the foods on the acidic list.

If people want to think that they can eat anything and everything and not increase their risk of cancer or increase their general risk of disease, then they should go right ahead. Clamp a cellphone to your ear, swig that aspartame, guzzle that fluoride, sleep under high voltage wires, eat GMO food, pop several SSRI's every day, put all your money in the stock market, have faith in the US dollar, give your kids nine vaccines in one day. Live it up.

Ok. Anyone else have evidence that diet affects blood pH?

Is that book any good? I saw the movie, and while it started out strong it was ridiculously painful to watch by the end. A theatrical cluster-fuck of political issues, each of them poorly represented.

Although I would've liked to see Avril Lavigne wind up in Gitmo for cow-tipping.

I keed! We love you, Avril Lavigne!

While large amounts of these items are very tough for me to digest, small amounts whole wheat and grass-fed meats go down just fine, and help keep my weight up. Same for dairy - goat is very easy to digest.

my son (12) was diagnosed with crohn's a year ago and we cured him by eliminating ALL grains, soy protein, lactose, and most other complex carbs. he was ok with lactose free dairy: home made yogurt and aged cheese (not home made).

diet plays a much bigger role in overall health than i ever imagined.

there's probably something to the PH thing but dietary needs are fairly personal.
