I've only heard one song by this band (available on their website) and I fucking love it. They're playing in Boston this Sunday night, and I've heard that their live show is stellar.

Anyone care to second that? I'll probably go to the show if I can make it.

I will second it a dozen times over. Medications are my current favorite band, and the best band in D.C. right now, since Fugazi added those keyboards.

interesting. never heard their music before, but the mp3 on their website it pretty fun. kinda reminds me of if Jawbox knocked up 70's-era Yes.

i don't know why they bothered changing the name from Faraquet, as it's nearly identical, but absolutely not crap!

i saw 'em live a few weeks ago and they were drop dead amazing. the new record isn't quite as good as the Ep, but it's still worth getting. awesome.

A great band. 'Safe and Sorry' is really catchy and has a lot of groove.
