Yes that is exactly what they did. It's one reason why the song has two titles - "Jack The Stripper/Fairies Wear Boots".


You don't even notice on the cassette version.

This is the only tape I have in my car. My CD player fucks up a lot-- and I don't really mind.

My guess is, if the writing is impenetrable, the error goes to the author. Then again, I don't teach writing or write professionally, so what do I know? BER on the other hand...
