She didn't "almost leave me" but she was plenty pissed that I made her sit through it.
I will not watch the Nicholas Cage version of "Bad Lieutenant. Fuck that.

This part of the blurb gives me hope that this is a joke:
Herzog's expected to follow "Bad Lieutenant" with Focus' "The Piano Tuner" late this year.
The remake is a bad enough idea, but starring N. Cage puts it directly into the 'unwatchable' pile.

60I love that holy madman Werner Herzog, but him remaking Bad Lieutenant is an awful idea with anyone in the lead. Casting Nick Cage just sends the whole thing into the abyss.
