One of my fondest memories of Killdozer was seeing them with Steel Pole Bathtub and dis- on my birthday years ago, at CBGB.
Michael Gerald stood on one of those plastic milk crates to make himself taller, and the first song they played was "Hottentot."
Someone told him it was my birthday, and he made "King of Sex" my birthday song, which made me so happy that later that night, when I saw my then-romantic interest (my first "real" one) kissing some other girl, I didn't get mad, I just crushed his gentle spirit.
