Hopefully, it will be warm enough for the beer garden.

It's gonna be 80 degrees that day, looking at the weather right now

I would love for it to only be 80 degrees right now. It's still 95 outside and I'm sitting directly in front of a fan but all it's really doing is blowing the hot air at me. Bay Area--you are hotter than Pheonix today. WTF?

Beer garden sounds lovely. I can't decide what to get. I've had the Kuma before. The Motorhead, Slayer, or Metallica with egg added all sound good. The Goblin Cock looks delicious but there's no way I could finish that in a single sitting.

Thanks for the suggestions and offers to meet up with us on Wednesday. Unfortunately, my last remaining grandparent, Grandpa Jerry, passed away this morning, so we will be heading straight to Pulaski from Indianapolis without a Chicago visit. I'm trying to work things out such that we can be dropped up and picked up from Hot Doug's around 11:30 AM on Wednesday so Ben and I can at least eat lunch somewhere special.

This sucks on a number of different levels. I'm obviously upset that my grandpa is dead but we'd been expecting it to happen very soon and he wasn't expected to make it to Christmas last year, so it's impressive that he lasted so long in the first place.

I'm also annoyed that I'm going to have to skip the night out in Chicago, which was one of the highlights of our vacation. I had been looking forward to meeting/seeing you guys and seeing some non-EA friends. Instead, we now get to drive for 8 hours and immediately attend a Polish-Catholic funeral. Not fun.

Hopefully we can get cheap tickets to Chicago this Fall for a 4-day weekend and we can partake of the Kuma's and maybe even have a backyard cook-out then.
