certainly Not Crap but i definitely preferred ONoffON as far as the newer albums go.
i thought it sounded a bit muddy actually and kind of stopped listening to it...
will give it another go this afternoon.

A confession: this is the only Mission of Burma album I own. I have no explanation for that.

I'm 6/80ths the way to #1.

25I haven't heard anything shitty buy Mission of Burma ever.

26This is probably my favorite album made in the past few years, although that statement is probably as much an indictment of me as it is a tribute to this album.
Still, this is a really fucking good album.

27This is a damn hell ass good album. It makes a lot more sense on vinyl - it can get cumbersome if you sit through the whole thing with no breaks. I hope they make an album of some of the new songs they've been playing out lately ("So Fuck It" is just great). Mission Of Burma thus far has nothing but highlights in their discography, not counting compilations and barrel-scraping albums.
They still sound like nobody else.

29Great bands do not always make great albums. Nor do they have to. Mission do not have to to cement themselves as one of the greatest, most under-appreciated bands of all-time.
I'm not a fan of Obliterati, but I am of MoB.

Out of general curiosity, what don't you like about this record?
