im guessing you have the godflesh stuff? if not, love and hate in dub is posted here: http://bloodistruth.blogspot.com/2007/01/oh-my-god.html

i make a few tracks like this, but started from scratch... theres no original track for the dub version to be built from. technically its not real dub at all... more like a reggae instrumental that includes distorted guitars here and there. earth-type harmonic trickery works well with delay lines :D

there was a band from philadelphia called Franklin back in the late 90s/early 2000s that was pretty dubbed out. not dub tracks, but heavy dub influence...they have a self titled full length that has enough dub to make me wet.

there was a kind of garage rock/ska band called the siren six! from minneapolis from the late 90s who were pretty fantastic, but specifically, they had a cover of jimmy cliff's 'you can get it if you really want' that they changed into a minor key and ended with a heavy drum and bass super snare echo breakdown. i love that track.

i can make you my own dub tracks out of the lingling songs that you seemed to enjoy, but i dont think they'll turn out very good. and honestly, i'm not really interested in doing that.

can anybody give me any dub recommendations? i tend to really enjoy the punkdub shit because it usually has a great minor key bass line and great acccented drums...whenever i checked out old school dub stuff, it always failed to impress me.

I assume you have the UOA 12". Off the top of my head that was the first thing I thought of. There's also that first Electroputas single. The Convocation of.. Remixes. Jah Division can be ok. The 7" by PiL and Don Letts was good. I forgot the name of the band though. I know there's a ton of stuff, but I can't really come up with anything off the top of my head. I'm gonna take a look and get back to you.

yeah and i just realized their ep "messiah" (originally only released to members of their fan club, reissued in 2001 or something like that) also had a dub version of each track. i really enjoy that record in general. it's also at the same site --
