Government Issue...I'd probably annoyed many with my fandom of them in the past.

Speaking of annoyances...I have this roomate who's one of those guys who's opinion your always going to hear and, when it concerns music, it can be kinda funny because he has no idea what he's talking about...

First of all, he is- or at least thinks he is- a massive Who fan (I'll get to the 'thinks he is' part later) and goes on about how he hates Led Zeppelin. Knowing it'd be such as easy button to push- even if I don't completely believe it myself (sometimes I kinda do, though)- I nonchalantly stated that Bonham was a better drummer than Moonie.

The 'thinks he is' part stems from the fact that he thinks Pete Townsend wrote 'Armenia City In the Sky'. When I told him it was written by Townsend's limo driver it turned into an argument. I could even show him documentation that he's wrong and he'd still argue with me.

Stupid shit.

I'm probably one of the biggest Deerhoof fans in the world. They're by far my favorite band. I get all hot and bothered just thinking about them. John Dieterich is, along with Keith Richards, one of my two all-time favorite guitarists.

I can't think of any currently extant band who can come anywhere close to them. Lightning Bolt comes closest. They're number two. I was pretty obsessed with them a few years ago. Still love them, but don't listen to them that often anymore.
