I remember when I was a young man working as an assistant in a fancy Hollywood recording studio where they had 3 of these and the owners used to brag that they cost more then his house. I think he told me 220K each?
Glad I didn't buy one.

When I was in school in NYC, in the "Analog/Digital Systems" course, this puppy was brought up, and I remember a student raising his hand and simply asking "Why in the Hell would you do that?"
If only they had polled the youth.
