i pretty much second everything arrison, and bob said.

lemme know when you're comin' here and i'll see about some shows.

Hey that damned fly, you were one of the posters I was thinking of, I'll be in Richmond on Saturday June 14th and Sunday June 15th. Oh, and thanks to everyone for all the advice. I'll check out some of the restaurants mentioned. I've been to Carytown and Plan 9 last time I was in Richmond, I'll have to go back again this time. I just wondered if there were any other smaller record stores that maybe carried some more obscure stuff.

Thanks everyone!

I wish they open one up here, but you know people would just ruin it. Be throwing shoes and shit in the fire. Burning themselves or their kids on purpose and trying to sue the place.

Was that called the Grate Steak? We have one here in Norfolk (I think, it might be closed down at this point, possibly a fire there a few years ago).

One of my favorite things there was the hunk of french bread they'd give you. You could go to the potato bar, slather it in garlic butter, grill up the bread, and dump their chili on top of it. The cuts of meat were pretty alright from what I remember. I used to think them rolling out a cart of steak cuts was pretty awesome.

Also to the OP, my old singer lives up there and he swears by the Capitol Alehouse. If you're a beer snob it's the place to go up there.
