This is the set they played on Thursday the 10th. The Touch and Go website has a picture of the set list from the ATP show as well. I guess they changed it for the 11th.

The set list I posted was for the San Francisco Show on Friday March 11th. Sorry about the confusion wtih me calling it the 10th in my last posting. It was the 11th, the last of the 3 San Francisco shows. I have a copy of the setlist from that night, the gist being they mixed it up opening with Good Morning C. and ending with Rhoda.

However, they did go back to the usual set tonight in Los Angeles.

Sonically BRILLIANT! Visually flat. I still loved every minute, but I think the casual fan was very disappointed (lots of after show muttering). SLINT unfortunately had zero stage presence, no interaction with the audience or each other, very little movement, and lots of 'dead air'.

I've been informed by a close source to the band, that the last few Slint shows on the re-union will include "Sum 41-esque" pogo-ing, and of course the ritual end of tour smashing of instruments. I'm stoked!

Pinback, yes-they were good. Rob Crow (?) does that chordal bass thing that I like. The double bass action. Nice. Is Dianogah the most influential band in the US?

I actually liked the fact that there was little interaction with the crowd. It made this experience all the more surreal and disorienting. Especially after the long drive: Am I really here? Seeing Slint? etc etc. The crowd was good- and the 'heckling' was usually kept to 'best fucking band ever!' and the like. I think that was David Yow in the balcony.

Zach is the bass player for Pinback btw - but Rob does play a bass now and again during sets.

Chicago Metro March 25th show was GREAT!!

Not much more to say than that.

The opening band was not very good musically but had a very very attractive young lady playing bass that made it all worth getting there early to claim to a good spot. Girls are good.

And it was Mr. Jeremy Lemos doing monitors, not house. Only the guys in Slint get to hear HIS mixes!
