These sort of cats are the coolest.

Unfortunately all my cats hate each other and fight each other over who gets the most love. I'm thinking about letting one of them graduate to the outdoors as she is the numero uno hater of other cats and she fights me to get outdoors. Any tips on making her life safe out there?

Two firsts today:

First cottage pie made at home. yes, it was 95ºF/35ºC today, but I had a craving.

Also, first guitar lesson today.

Both were superb.

I have written a I-IV-V blues song called "Goddamn, my fingers hurt."

Not really. But my fingers do kind of hurt.

Learned the single string part of the riff for "Cissy's Strut" today, too, but can't figure out what the chords are.

Anyone know, who can put it in guitarded english? As in, "Oh, that's a [X] chord, which is just a [Y] chord on the [Z] fret."

I got a strap the other day for the guitar which I really like, and it promptly broke tonight. The leather tore at the front strap hole. Crap.

I have (roughly) a 300$ credit card payment due by tomorrow. I paid (roughly) $250 in advance. I'm shit broke and I'm working to scrape together $50.

Can someone PM me some money?

No, I'm just wondering if I don't pay off the extra $50 for another few days, as in a few days after the new billing period, will my credit score go down? I don't know why I'm posting this here. I obviously don't know shit about credit scores.

From experience, the major credit companies only report after 30 days late. Don't take my word though, I only do this shit part time, i.e. not paying on time.

If so, can you drop them by?

How are you feeling, sir?

There were leftovers, but my wife beat me home.

I sauteed the lamb with salt and black pepper in a cast iron skillet, then poured the grease off (into some dog bowls with some kibble in them. Tonight I have some VERY happy and fat dogs) and then tossed the lamb into a skillet where I had been frying garlic, onions, rosemary and some vegetables from the garden, then doused the whole ensemble with red wine. I let that cook down, then assembled the potato bit, and put into the oven until the cheese I had grated on top was toasted.

Not crap.

I finally started to feel better today. No coughing last night and tonight I seem to be in the clear, so I am mailing the cough syrup to Marsupialized.

I have been "working from home" this week because of office shuffles at my job, so I slept pretty late this morning. That extra three hours of sleep probably made more of a difference than the Z Pack and the steroids.

I played drums for two hours tonight and it was good. I feel like I am on the mend.

It's time to make some serious changes.

I'm back what did I miss??
oh

Salut, good sir this is indeed excellent news. I gave up smoking on our honeymoon (mine and my wifes, that is) and it was easy, we went travelling and there was soooo much to distract me, I just didnt even notice. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. My point is, try to break out of the normal patterns in which you smoke, and try and do something completely different to take your mind off it. shitty advice I know, but its all I got, personal experience.

Any reason you did not get it checked during the last 10 months, when you were having so much discomfort?
