It's time to make some serious changes.

Any reason you did not get it checked during the last 10 months, when you were having so much discomfort?

A mixture of incredulity, denial and fear probably prevented me from being more aggressive in getting doctors to take me seriously. I went to see my doctor (a surly New Yorker) on what, maybe three or four occasions and each and every time he told me it was nothing and that I was being unduly anxious.

I have been listening to Christian Fennesz’s “Endless Summer”, which our good CJH recommended a while ago. I have not heard it many times, but I think that I am growing to love it. This is my last day in this office, so I’ve my headphones on to prevent disruption as I work through a mountain of work. I feel compelled to take a break to write this though, as I have just realised that the extended track of low, mournful, wind howling, which I’d taken to be a perfect interlude to the record, one that I had mysteriously not noticed in my two earlier idle listens, is actually in fact the keening of circulation in the adjacent stair well, which runs 39 floors down and one floor up. The record finished five or ten minutes ago.

Being in Berlin for a limited time, I have decided to get the most of it.

Yesterday for example I've had currywurst twice, "germanstyle hotdog" (wurst with sauerkraut) once, and a bio-wurst sandwich on the way home. That is, of course, excluding meals and bakeries.

I'm planning on a three wursts a day average for the forthcoming week.

Don't you realise eating like that is the wurst thing you can do for you health?

Thank you, I'll be here all week.

He went to bed about a decade ago, or whenever he sold his soul to the bankers and the elites.

I too had missed this good news Sir. Now you just need to get that rash between your legs looked at. One thing at a time though, eh?

I'm on quitting cigarettes, attmept number 213. Broke down and had a half on Monday night after 9 days smoke free.

Fucking a, I gotta do better than that.

Hey Erawk, don't know how much of an incentive this would be for you, but since I gave up in December I've been able to afford a 32" flat screen TV and a new turntable. Do it.

Mieux vaut seule que mal accompagnée, non? et à n'importe quel age à mon avis.

My mum has been secretly thinking about divorce for the last 5 years, I'm sure, but has been too much of a coward to act on it, thus making her life and her husband's life miserable.
It is true seeing a parent get cornered is sad for them, but I think it is also depressing for you, as it can be real hard getting things in perspective, and realizing one's parents are just people before they are parents.
Most of my wishes go to you first for dealing with that if you haven't already, the rest goes to your mom.

I took that NyQuil derivative. Isn't that shit supposed to put you to sleep and have comparable effects to horse tranquilizers and all? I did not sleep well and felt totally drugged to boot (and not in a good way). I had weird sex dreams and tossed and turned. Now I'm awake, I still can't breathe correctly, and now I feel like my muscles have weights attached.
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.
