Unbeatable band based on their first two records and their live records. A Way of Life, Why Be Blue?, and American Supreme aren't so good, but each has its moments.

Yeah, Suicide sounds just like Springsteen...wow...I love misinformation.

Bands don't come much more over-rated than Suicide.

Go to a bar or show where someone is playing records in between bands or something. They play some punk, garage, James Brown, etc....then, Suicide comes on. You might not be able to hear the words or even know what song it is but you can sense that filthy pulse. It's just a different air, a different thing. I don't know that I can interpret all of the lyrics but I know that the early stuff that I've heard is not crap.

How about this? Take Buddy Holly, the Ronettes/Spector and the Everly Brothers out of the Ravonettes and what is left? Maybe some Velvet Underground and for sure some Suicide.

Over-rated maybe but they did something different and weird for sure.
