Modified all the new headphone cables.
This was much easier to do than I expected. I had planned to do a lot of de-soldering, but found out I could just pop the pins out of the housing by carefully pushing straight down on them. All the cables tested o.k. with the one modified box.

Modernizing recently purchased dbx 160 vu with IEC power connector and proper grounding.

Neumann/Gefell 563 making scratchy noises.

Dirty connections on the mic cleaned.

Headphone box wiring-
Helpful intern Kenny stripped and tinned a bunch of ribbon cables that I am using to wire the new panel mount connectors on the mixer boxes. Very precise work Kenny. Very precise.

Greg, you are missing some serious details of our time together here. I mean, no mention of NPR, Fat Willy's, or how my soldering skills are unparalleled and cannot be duplicated by any other intern.
