It's not too late to add that advice to this thread:
Milton Friedman- rot in hell
OK. Consider it done. Only I am not going to call Justin a douchebag.
It's awful form to piss on someone's grave.
You know, come to think about it, I've had far less of my share of dealing with death than most my age. So I've been lucky in that regard and it's probably less than empathetic to glory in anyone else's demise. Forget what my hate says about them, it doesn't say good things about me.
So I'll skip on the rot in hell threads from now on. (Even for Kissinger! And Sandy Weil. And Jake Selechnik.) I obviously enjoy writing them. But I'll reason that there's a good lesson to teach yourself in NOT spending the time to revel in a stranger's death. Even if they have scuttled their own humanity by denying the value of other people, I don't need to do the same thing by posting vitriol that would rightly be hurtful to those who may have cared for the deceased. Sure, there's no chance that Friedman's grandkids troll this message board, but that's no real excuse. So, I'll stop.
Tim, I appreciate your not calling me a douchebag.
Oh, and hating
Tim Russert? Give me a break. Mainstream media is pretty scuzzy, sure. But this guy is far down on the list of people to HATE. I mean, really - write a list of the worst people in the world and Tim Russert won't even be on it because you'll be too busy writing out other people's names.
