54ok,
over all I enjoyed it but I am better at pointing out negatives so here we go.
mix was weird -mostly just KS's guitar and drums. the bass was all subs, no definition. I know the bass isn't a massive part of MBV stuff (excluding a few songs) but it was a bit too much that way. same with the vocals - they were real quiet - again MBVs thing but they were too in that direction.
They were quite sloppy for a band of their size. I know they haven't been together for over a decade but still - when there was a stop during a song they'd all come in at slightly different times. the songs you'd expect to be better where great (ie, the more "pop" type songs, but there were a lot of moments that just seemed completely lost. they often drifted out of time with the loops. the drummer is kind of shit as well which I guess wouldn't help matters all that much. that said belinda and kevin were quite boring to watch, I found myself mostly watching the drummer/bassist who were at least playing with some kind of passion. yeah yeah shoe gaze blah blah blah whatever but still...
great version of you made me realise with a 30 minute feedback/noise interlude right in the middle.
loudest show I have ever been to.

55I went on Friday and thought it was incredible. I lost my shit to be honest. Not in a jumping on top of people kind of way, but in a 'I'm not sure where I am in the room, how long have I been here' kind of way.
I'm going again tomorrow night.
If anybody wants to go, every night tickets have been going for 5 pounds outside, as they seem to over-estimated demand somewhat, so people are turning up with spares and the touts aren't buying: 'My Bloody Waste Of Time' as I heard one put it on Friday.
