some arsonist just set a fire five miles from my house; he was seen setting fires along the freeway. and no one ran him over.

i gotta go home.

Jesus. Sorry to hear that and I hope that your home is okay. If it makes you feel any better, I'd have stopped my car and set the arsonist on fire.

It is absolutely miserable today, especially without A/C. I think I've consumed at least 3 quarts of water thus far. Worst heat since the 104 degree day back in mid-May and it's supposed to be just as hot tomorrow.

Anyone have a good idea for a Bay Area beach (either ocean or lake) where there won't be a zillion screaming kids running wild? I'd be willing to drive about 80 miles if it meant that I could escape the heat and also mostly avoid people's demonspawn.

thanks. winds are favorable for me, not so for others. winds will die around 2am. i'll fell better after that.

limontaur (sp?) near pt reyes. nice beach, not too crowded. good food nearby in inverness.

stinson and bolinas are also nice.

We went to Stinson last August or September. Awesome beach, scary drive to get there, and it's apparently located a few miles from a major spawning area for white sharks. Beautiful beach, though! We'll be back later this year.

We're probably going to do to Del Valle out by Livermore.

I am now watching a doc on Lon Chaney. He seems like he was an interesting guy.

Heh heh, no, but you're paying attention. That's in about a week-and-a-half. Fish Week is also Mexican Week, since the family doesn't care for "peasant" Mexican food (greasy corn tortilla-based). Well, partly Salvadoran Week, since I'll probably be crushing some pupusas.

She's on the other side of the mountains for an exhibition derby bout.

I should probably get to bed. The kids are expecting smoked German sausage & eggs in the morn.

Lon Chaney, eh? Speaking of Coloradoans...
