See, the thing is, the people with racks don't have 12 cymbals either. The douchebag I saw on Thursday, for example, had a rack (and a FULL rack, all three sides) with 4 cymbals. Four. And. AND. The goddamn rack toms were mounted on the bass drum. So let's recap:

3-sided rack - about 75 pounds and $300-400
Equipment supported by rack: 4 cymbals

I don't see any problems here. Do you?
