Agreed. That song is crushing on the single. The line "Death could take you; and that's just what it do" is really, really devastating.

"Let The Wires Ring" is one the most gorgeous songs ever written. And I See a Darkness, in my mind at least, is such an unquestionably good record that I would never, barring violent criminal activity towards children or puppies, be able to vote crap, regardless of whatever music he writes in the future.

This is possibly my favorite record of all time.

I totally love the new EP. Probably my favorite of his (even though its all covers).

The song 'Cycles', fucking brilliant. I also like the R Kelly cover where he sings "If anybody axe you..", Will Oldham singing ebonics, what more could you want?

In case you missed that, there's actually been a new record since Ask Forgiveness called Lie Down in the Light. It's a good record.

It's a great record. It has kind of been blowing my mind. Especially side one. Especially the last song on side one.
