I have placed a vote for the elder Johnson brother.

I have enjoyed Big 'N, make no mistake. Shorty seemed to have a more effortless, organic out of nowhere strangeness to them. Just kind of sickening, brutal and out there.

Big 'N never had the demented edge or creep-out or whatever that you get from Al and Shippy.

Big in were more a sum of their influences (nothing wrong with that) while Shorty were just kinda what they were.

why wait!?

That's one cool video.
Ho. Lee. SHIT. I had never heard Shorty before. That video is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. If their stuff in general is even half as good as that song I might have a new favorite band.

yeah well i can immagine how much it was intense...

The band was very intoxicated as well. They were really good. I was surprised at how few people showed up for it. I assumed it'd be packed.
