Will was a lot less intoxicated than the last show, or I thought so anyway. They were great, everything I'd hoped for. I wish every show I wanted to see was that not-jam packed. Rumor is that they're going to try to keep the momentum going, do another show in the fall, and write some new stuff to record.

Ibanez Artist. it is clearly visable in the Coopie 'N Me video. he used it every time i saw them live, too.

my friend just gave me a copy of the oxes/big'n split. the big'n songs on here are way tighter full length. I would say the 3 songs on this split, rival the fresh breath e.p. in terms of awesomeness. third song on here is so damn awesome. it seems like they were really coming into their own sound. that harmonica, shit, it's all too cool. really like how they stretch this song out.

I'll never get how Shorty killed this. Yeah, they were good, and set up the pins for Big'n. But Big'n killed it. The end of every riff is a hook. You're nodding along the entire time.
