Band: The Didjits
23Can't believe I haven't been to this thread yet...
The Didjits were the first REALLY GOOD band I ever saw perform live...
On the way to the show the first time I saw them, the first girl I'd ever (eventually) fuck sat on my lap in an overcrowded van... I was pretty damn young...
Great band, great songs, great times, great lyrics...
Rick Sims is a Rock'n'Roll God!
Very important I saw these dudes when I was rather young.
All their albums are great, especially Hey Judester and Full Nelson Reilly...

24Totally not crap.
I was schoolin' in Champaign '84 through '87. Saw them almost every time they played locally, including shows in Charleston. I think the first (maybe second) time I saw them was with Beefeater at the Illini Union. Didjits and Big Black at Channing-Murray was one of my all-time favorite shows.
I kinda stopped paying attention after Hornet Pinata--Brad "Wiener Dog" Sims was out of the lineup, and the original idea had more or less run its course.
I thought they did real well at the TNG reunion show, and they did even better at the Highdive in Champaign the following week.
Didjits. Yes.
