I partially concurr with this, although I'd rather be shot in the face than listen to a moment of U2. Bono, a shrieking dignityphobe with lifts in his shoes, is too much of a pantomime villain to be taken seriously. Maybe I've just detested him for so long I've become inured to him but I think deep down he knows how truly ridiculous he is.

Any such minuscule trace of self-awareness is totally lacking in the beige threat that is Chris Martin. I'm with Nina on this one and this drippy, pompous musical poltroon must not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Prickdome - excellent idea let's have more of these.

I can handle Bono thinking he's god, it's funny and it amuses me. Chris Martin on the other hand is an out an out smug cunt who looks down on everybody, whilst thinking he's actually doing good with meaningless symbols on his hand/jacket.

He's the sort of annoying student-type wanker who - if he were not a famous cunt and working in a shop say - would do anything other than serve you. He'd piss about with his mobile, have conversations with colleagues..do an annoying dance, maybe juggle something..
.. you get the drift..

I also found it funny. There was a promo slot for the new Coldplay album on TV where CM said 'We ripped off a bit of everyone...(something about Umbrella by Rhianna and a load of other recent hits)...hopefully no one will notice.' How I laughed.

He's obviously taken all the negative press to heart and decided to be a bit less serious this time. A less insecure man wouldn't have bothered. Does telling a few jokes and giving some money to charity automatically make someone not a prick? Don't make me Hitler the thread.
