Watching it right now on Adult Swim without ever seeing anything else.
Seems neat.
Should I just rent the series because I'm not totally getting it?

I especially liked the episode where they were filming an episode of MTV's Real World. That one was hilarious.
I do think the show is a bit dated though. Definitely meant to appeal to people who lived their early 20s in the mid '90s.
there is no part of this that i don't agree with...
it took a while for this show to catch on with me...even with all of the good references running through it...
i'm glad they're playing it again...

I think you'd consider your time watching it not wasted. You've worked shitty jobs, felt your creativity stifled, moved, gotten drunk. You can identify with parts of this show.
I love the color palette of this show.

yeah, just download it or something. it's been awhile since i've seen it, as the relationship with the girl that owned it, ended. fine at first, as time went on it seems it ended worse than i thought.
either way, it is a great show.
"hey, jim, wanna get drunk?"
"i can't i have a date...wait...that's a great idea! i'll get drunk before my date!"

19The episode Burun says is the last one of the series and I think that's one of the best episodes I've seen in any animated series.
Mission Hill was seriously NOT CRAP. Probable the most underrated series in the 90s.
The super classic art and color palette were fantastic.
God... I loved that show. (Good that I just downloaded the two dvds)
