The Future Of what then New Plastic Ideas then Fake Train.
Stop.
Listen to Leaves Turn Inside You.
Stop.
Everything else is isn't necessary.

Bullshit...

Repetition is amazing, I'd take that over Fake Train.

Plight is one of the first Unwound songs I heard, and immediately loved it.

You also missed the fact that they did a Portland show in this announced trio of final performances. I'm only nitpicking because it very easily was one of the top five shows I've even been to. They even played the Valentine/Cantina pairing as it plays on Fake Train, which a friend told me he'd never seen them do.
The show was obviously packed, and there was this distinct sense of mourning, immediacy and lack of inhibition that permeated the whole performance. Being plied with alcohol by a beautiful woman definitely enhanced the whole event, and as emotionally drained and drunk I was, I still managed to stay the night at her place and seal the deal. Thank you, Unwound.
Fucking not crap.

It's a close call, but I'm going with New Plastic Ideas. I've listened to it more than any other, maybe because it was my first Unwound album, and I was young and felt really strongly about music at the time.

The only one I never got into is Challenge for a Civilized Society.

I saw a couple of their final shows, at the Vera Project in Seattle and the next night at Java Jive in Tacoma. The Java Jive show was probably among the five or so most memorable, special, ridiculously great shows I've been to. It was in a tiny, odd, out of the way place, $3 cover, good beer, an ecstatic crowd, and then Unwound just killed everyone.

Great band.
