i haven't seen any of the comic strip stuff for years

Although it is sometimes difficult to understand what they are saying (but a lot of British comedies are like that), this show is so very NOT CRAP.

UK people (or anyone who might know):

What was with the subliminal images embedded into every episode? I've wondered this for at least 20 years.

completely not crap. almost every episode ends with complete anarchy.

i didn't like this show much when i seen it, but it might've just been the woman i was dating who was a fan. i didn't like her much either.

I liked it a lot in my teens, but they out grew it and made better stuff. Bottom still cracks me up, but I don't laugh so much at The Young Ones.

Not crap though.

They made another series called Filthy, Rich and Catflap. I fucking loved it. Never seen it since.

i got to see it last summer online...i watched every episode except for the last one...it was sort of weird at first but i grew to like it...the quiz show is by far my favorite episode...

Is this really how you treat n00bs around here??

Most of the subliminals reinforce the story. An example is; when the boys could only afford to eat snow the subliminal was a guy skiing.
