Rublev is the Masterpiece. Mirror is my second favorite. Stalker, Third.

I've watched and re-watched all his films. I thought Nostalghia, though stunningly beautiful in places, was the least successful.

I haven't read it, but my wife rates it over both films. She says the emphasis is different.

4. Solaris
5. Stalker
6. The Sacrifice
7. Nostalghia

4-6 I've only seen once, so those are probably subject to change.
